What We Can Do For You
When cancer or a similar condition affects us we often suffer financial difficulties, frequently as
a result of being unable to continue working. WDCCT is able to provide financial grants and
assistance to anyone living in the Wokingham District who is affected by cancer or a similar
illness.
The kinds of things that we can help pay for include, for example, transport to hospital, holiday
costs, equipment hire, help with utility bill payments, child nursery fees, home nursing costs and
many other similar things.
If you or someone for whom you are caring is in need of such help please let us know so that
we can see how we might be able help you.
To apply for a grant speak to your Macmillan Nurse or District Nurse who will help you make the
application or contact the Trust directly at WDCCT, BA/Macmillan House, Wokingham Hospital,
Barkham Road, Wokingham, RG41 2RE.
